TATA Steel recruitment 2023 Education Qualifications

Minimum Education Qualifications:
To be eligible for the program, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Completed three-year diploma and directly joined the 2nd year of engineering, and currently in the final year of BE/ B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.).
• Attended a full-time AICTE/ UGC approved Campus Program.
• For General Candidates: Minimum score of 6.5 CGPA or 65% in BE/ B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) / M.Tech. / M.Sc. examination.
• For Transgender, PwD, SC/ST Candidates: Minimum score of 6.0 CGPA or 60% in BE/ B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) / M.Tech. / M.Sc. examination.
• Preference will be given to candidates who are domiciled in the State of Jharkhand and Odisha.

Age Limit:

• General Candidates: Should not be more than 30 years as of June 1st, 2023.
• Transgender, PwD, SC/ST Candidates: Should not be more than 32 years as of June 1st, 2023.

Emoluments and Benefits:
During the one-year training period, Engineer Trainees will receive an all-inclusive stipend of ₹30,000 per month. They will also be covered under a Medi-Claim scheme, which includes hospitalization coverage of ₹2,50,000 per annum and OPD coverage of ₹6,000 per annum. After successful completion of training, Assistant Managers will be offered a CTC of INR 7 lacs per annum, along with other perks and benefits as per company policy.
